FAIRBANKS — A 23-year-old Fairbanks suspect has been indicted in the shooting death of a man whose body was found last year near the Tanana River.
Alaska State Troopers say a Fairbanks grand jury Wednesday indicted Yelisey Campbell on first-degree murder and evidence tampering charges in the shooting death of 21-year-old Todd Nosal of North Pole.
Nosal’s body was found April 5 on a dike near the river south of Fairbanks.
Trooper investigators say Nosal was killed after a disturbance at Campbell’s home in Fairbanks.
Troopers with a warrant arrested Campbell on Thursday.
