Home expo kicks off tonight.

The 2016 Home & Outdoor Living Expo will kick off tonight with a wine and beer tasting event from 5-8 p.m. at Centennial Hall. On Saturday and Sunday, the expo will be open to general admission ($6) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

More than 40 vendors ranging from the financial to construction sectors and more will have booths at the expo, and demonstrations and seminars will run during both days. Topics range from contractor licensing to strategies for gardening and designing in Southeast Alaska.
