A 13-year-old girl injured in a motor vehicle crash in late June was reported to be in good condition in Seattle as the investigation into the crash continues in Juneau.
The teenager is out of intensive care and in satisfactory condition as of Wednesday, said University of Washington Medicine media relations director Susan Gregg in an email.
The teenager was hit near the Gold Creek crosswalk by a 39-year-old Juneau man driving an SUV, the Empire previously reported.
The teenager was medevaced to Harborview Medical Center on June 27, in serious condition with extensive trauma to head, pelvis and legs, and was placed in intensive care, the Empire previously reported.
The investigation into the crash is still underway, said Juneau Police Department public safety manager Erann Kalwara in an email.
