FAIRBANKS — Fairbanks drug investigators acting on a Crime Stoppers tip have seized an estimated $52,680 in heroin.
Alaska State Troopers say the drugs were confiscated from a home and a storage unit belonging to 47-year-old Gzim Fejzoski, who was being sought by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.
Drug investigators served a search warrant Monday at Fejzoski’s home and seized 3.75 ounces of suspected heroin, $4,067 in cash and a loaded pistol.
Investigators Tuesday seized 25.4 grams of suspected heroin from Fejzoski’s storage unit.
He’s been charged with drug and weapons misconduct.
A federal detainer was placed on Fejzoski for failing to comply with immigration orders.
Troopers say the substance seized will be sent to the state crime laboratory for testing and weighing.
