The Juneau Police Department has requested any knowledge the public has about a young man wanted in connection with a series of a shopliftings at Sportsman’s Warehouse in October.
JPD highlighted the crime Thursday as its “Crime of the Week” to try to solicit tips from the public, according to a press release.
The man in question is wanted for two separate incidents that occurred in October, according to Lt. Scott Erickson. On Oct. 12, the man entered the store and stole an air pistol. On Oct. 21, the man entered the store and stole an emergency vehicle jump kit. The man was described as wearing a black hoodie with the word “Ultradent” written on the back in white letters.
Anyone with information on this or other crimes is encouraged by Erickson to contact the JPD at (907)586-0600 or the Juneau Crime Line at either their website or (907)523-7700. Those submitting information may be eligible for a reward.
