The Juneau Crime Line and Juneau Police Department are seeking the public’s help in finding a burglar who stole more than $2,500 in firearms and camping gear.
On March 1, at about 350 p.m., a resident in the 1100 Block of A Street in Juneau reported his home had been burglarized, according to a press release from Juneau Police Department Lt. Scott Erickson. The resident said that while he was out of town on vacation between Jan. 20 and Feb. 28, the home was broken into. Four firearms, camping gear, planting equipment, and gear bags for camping were stolen. The total value of the property was estimated to be over $2,500.
