As the clock struck midnight, Juneau welcomed the Fourth of July with sounds much louder than a chiming clock.
The City and Borough Juneau’s annual fireworks show lit up the recently darkened sky over the Gastineau Channel with a thunderous display that lasted over 20 minutes.
