Municipal, school board and legislative debates have been set by Juneau Votes, the Juneau Empire and KTOO Public Media, giving Juneau voters a venue to learn more about the candidates running for election this fall.
The Municipal Candidate Debate will take place on Sept. 20 at the Mendenhall Public Library, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The Juneau Board of Education Debate will be on Sept. 19, at KTOO’s @360 studio beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The State Representatives Candidates Debate will be at the University of Alaska Southeast’s Auke Lake campus’s Egan Lecture Hall at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 13.
All debates will be broadcasted and recorded. Members of the media will ask the candidates questions, followed by a Q&A by the audience.
