Juneau man indicted for possession of child pornography

A warrant has been issued for the 62-year-old man’s arrest.

A Juneau man was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday on charges of possession of child pornography in 2017.

Gary L. Johnson, 62, was charged with possession of child pornography, a class C felony, in the Juneau Superior Court on Feb. 4, 2021, according to court documents. Detective Sgt. Matthew DuBois testified as the sole witness before the jury. Judge Amy Mead presided over the case. A warrant for Johnson’s arrest was issued and bail was set at $5,000.
