The Juneau Public Libraries are accepting food donations to pay off library fines during the entire month of February.
Bring in one can of non-perishable food and receive $5 off your library fines; bring in 20 cans and receive $100 off.
All food will be donated to the Southeast Alaska Food Bank. The top five needs are chili, soup, canned fruit, canned meat and peanut butter, but all non-perishable items will be accepted.
The downtown, Mendenhall Valley and Douglas branches of the library are all participating.
