Lt. Gov. Byron Mallott is the featured speaker at today’s noon Native Issues Forum hosted by the Central Council Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska. The Central Council hosts regular lunchtime lectures during the Legislative session featuring speakers who focus on issues important to Alaska Natives in Juneau.
The doors of today’s lecture open at 11:30 a.m., and the lecture is expected to last until 1 p.m. The lieutenant governor will begin speaking at noon, and a free lunch will be served.
Future lectures will take place Feb. 23, March 2, March 9, March 23 and April 14.
