Juneau police are investigating the death of a 47-year-old man whose body was found Friday afternoon by Brotherhood Bridge.
The Juneau Police Department received a 911 call from a woman who said she was concerned about a man she saw lying in the grass at about 3 p.m., according to a JPD press release. JPD and Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to the scene where they pronounced Peter Wool dead.
Police said Wool is an Alaska resident but not from Juneau.
Foul play is not suspected, and police said that drugs nor alcohol don’t appear to be a factor in Wool’s death. The investigation is ongoing, and police have requested an autopsy.
