The city has extended seasonal parking at Marine Park Plaza, which was originally slated to close Wednesday.
Drivers will now be able to park at the plaza until 6 p.m. on April 26, at which point Docks and Harbors staff will block off the entrance. Cars will be able to exit after the entrance is blocked, but any vehicle remaining in the plaza after midnight will be subject to impound, according to a city press release.
The Marine Parking Garage will be open for drivers who have permits to park there. But spaces five through 25 in the garage are reserved for hourly parking only.
Parks and Recreation will be answering any questions related to the change. The department can be reached at 586-5226 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.f
