Everybody makes mistakes, and next Tuesday, seven Juneau residents will share their personal experiences on the topic.
The monthly Mudrooms storytelling event takes place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 at Northern Light United Church. The theme is “If Only I’d Listened.”
David Noon, Tom Cosgrove, Mareta Bates Weed, Elliott Womack, Guy Archibald, John Smith and Libby Bakalar are this month’s speakers, and the musical guest is Thursday Night Old-Time Jammers. Each of the seven speakers will take seven minutes to share their personal stories.
Admission is $7, and all profits will be donated to Trail Mix, Inc., which is a local organization that maintains Juneau’s trails. An audio recording of the event will air on KTOO, 104.3 FM, later in the month, so those who miss the event don’t necessarily miss out on the stories. Mudrooms is in its seventh season and is run entirely by volunteers.
