JUNEAU — The new CEO of the Alaska Permanent Fund Corp. starts work this week.
Corporation spokeswoman Laura Achee says the start date for Angela Rodell is Wednesday.
The corporation’s board voted earlier this month to offer the job to Rodell, a former state Revenue commissioner. Her selection was contingent upon the successful negotiation of a salary and benefits package.
The previous CEO, Mike Burns, retired this spring due to health concerns and later died.
Achee says Rodell’s annual salary will be $290,000.
