The trial year for Juneau’s first online farmer’s market is in the books, and the organizers want to hear the community’s thoughts.
Salt &Soil Marketplace organizers are giving a presentation from 5:30-7 p.m. tonight at the 360 North studio at KTOO, located at 360 Egan Drive. The event is open to anyone and will include a wrapup of how the first year went. It will also give people a chance to give their input about possible changes for next year.
The market, in partnership with Southeast Alaska Watershed Coalition, Spruce Root Community Development, Sustainable Southeast Partnership and the Takshanuk Watershed Council, launched in June and connects vendors from all over Southeast with consumers in Juneau and Haines.
