Attention all Pokémon Go trainers: The Juneau Empire is about to be overrun by Pokémon and we need your help catching them.
Starting today, the Empire will begin dropping “lures” daily at 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, at our offices at 3100 Channel Drive.
Be sure to stop by our front desk for a free pen with stylus and a Pokémon card (while supplies last) and a free newspaper for trainers (or their parents). All you have to do is show up any time between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. during business days.
The Empire building is a PokéStop, so come back frequently to collect items. Across the street from us is DIPAC, a Pokémon Go gym location (currently held by Team Yellow — you gonna let that stand Team Red and Team Blue?). Catch ‘em all and get some free swag at the same time. Good luck!
