Disabled vehicle
• At 10:57 p.m. Tuesday, a vehicle was impounded for safekeeping in the 9500 block of Egan Drive.
Fraud
• At 5:01 p.m. Tuesday, a 44-year-old woman reported a telephone scam, in which the caller claimed they were with the Alaska State Troopers and that the woman had a summons. The caller asked the woman to send money to an undetermined location. The case was forwarded to Troopers, who are investigating similar reports.
Intoxicated subject
• At 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, police contacted a 42-year-old man in reference to a disturbance in the 2100 block of Jordan Avenue. The man was found to be noncompliant with the Sex Offender Registry. Alcohol involved.
Theft
• At 6:22 p.m. Tuesday, an investigation continued regarding the theft of $5,000 from a home in the 200 block of Franklin Street.
• At 11:22 a.m. Wednesday, an investigation continued into the theft of $810 from a business in the 3000 block of Clinton Drive.
Trespassing
• At 4:47 p.m. Tuesday, Brian Rose, 56, was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 8400 block of Thunder Mountain Road. He was lodged in Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held on $200 bail.
• At 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, a 54-year-old woman was cited and released for trespassing on Shattuck Way. Alcohol involved.
Vehicle accident
• At 11:03 a.m. Wednesday, a 1997 Toyota driven by a 26-year-old struck a 2015 Ford driven by a 54-year-old man in the 8100 block of Egan Drive. The 26 year old lost control of the vehicle due to icy road conditions, and was cited for basic speed. No injuries reported. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
