Assault
• At 5:41 p.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department arrested Robert James Paul, 38, on Franklin Street for second-degree assault after a reported stabbing. See today’s A1 page for more.
Child abuse/neglect
• At 12:28 a.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated the report of child abuse in the Juneau area.
Domestic violence
• At 8:27 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested a 32-year-old woman in the Juneau area for unlawful contact and violating conditions of release. Alcohol was a factor. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
• At 9:23 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of a woman, 44, who reported the violation of a domestic violence protective order. Alcohol was a factor.
• At 9:33 p.m. Tuesday, JPD investigated a domestic violence order violation in the Juneau area. Alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.
• At 7:02 a.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested a 28-year-old man in the Juneau area for criminal trespass and criminal mischief domestic violence. Alcohol was a factor. The man was taken to LCCC.
Drug misconduct
• At 10:36 a.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Gary Bell, 53, in the 2000 block of Jordan Avenue for violating conditions of release. Bell was taken to LCCC.
Fraud
• At 3:26 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of fraud in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.
Theft
• At 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, JPD cited and released Daniel Anthony Moreno, 38, in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road for concealment of merchandise in a business. In the same incident, JPD arrested Patrick Kauwila Kane, 39, for concealment of merchandise and for violating conditions of release. Kane was taken to LCCC and held on $250 bail.
Trespassing
• At 12:46 a.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Alan Lee, 32, in the 4000 block of Vintage Boulevard for criminal trespass and violating conditions of release.
Vandalism
• At 10:17 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 200 block of Fourth Street to investigate suspicious activity regarding attempted vandalism.
