• At 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the report of an assault in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.
Domestic violence
• At 3:23 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a domestic violence assault in the Juneau area.
• At 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of domestic violence in the Douglas area. Investigation continues.
• At 12:17 a.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested a man for domestic violence assault in the Juneau area. The man was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail.
Fight
• At 10:16 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of a fight in the 11400 block of Auke Bay Harbor Road. Investigation continues.
Shoplift
• At 11:50 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of shoplifting in the 100 block of Seward Street.
Theft
• At 12:49 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested Tyler Leathem, 25, for vehicle theft in the 2700 block of Engineer’s Cutoff Road. Leathem was taken to LCCC and held without bail.
Trespassing
• At 5:13 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested and released Paul Simpson, 28, in the 1700 block of Douglas Highway for criminal trespass for returning to a place where he had previously been issued a criminal trespass letter.
Vandalism
• At 7:14 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report from a man, 34, who said his tires had been slashed in the 1700 block of Douglas Highway.
Vehicle rifling
• At 2:53 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of vehicle rifling in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive. Investigation continues.
