Assault

• At 6:46 a.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a reported disturbance in the 200 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.

Child abuse/neglect

• At 3:37 p.m. Thursday, confidential investigation into child abuse/neglect in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive. Unknown if alcohol involved.

Death

• At 1:35 p.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a residence in the 3000 block of Douglas Highway for a welfare check. The resident was found deceased. Investigation continues.

Disturbance

• At 9:02 p.m. Thursday, investigation continues into a disturbance in the 9300 block of Turn Street and request for assistance at a Juneau residence.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 3:07 a.m. Friday, JPD and Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to a single vehicle crash in the 3000 block of Douglas Highway. Two patients were taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital with severe injuries. The crash is under investigation.

Shoplift

• At 4:03 p.m. Thursday, JPD investigated a shoplift from a business in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway.

Theft

• At 5:26 p.m. Thursday, JPD investigated the possible misuse of a license plate in the Juneau area.

• At 9:41 a.m. Friday, JPD investigated a report of theft of mail in the 300 block of Fourth Street.

Trespass

• At 1:12 p.m. Thursday, a 55-year-old man trespassed on city property on Egan Drive. Alcohol was involved.

• At 10:36 a.m. Friday, JPD investigated a report of criminal trespass in the 3400 block of Glacier Highway.
