Police calls for Monday, Jan. 14, 2019

Burglary

• At 9:24 a.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 11500 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a 94-year-old woman who reported a burglary to a home.

Domestic violence

• At 8:31 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of trespassing, assault and criminal mischief in the Juneau area. Alcohol was a factor. JPD is forwarding charges of assault and criminal mischief against a 33-year-old man to the City Attorney’s Office.

• At 6:36 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested a 34-year-old man in the Juneau area for two counts of domestic violence assault. Alcohol was a factor. The man was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 11:24 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested a 45-year-old woman in the Juneau area for violating a protective order and domestic violence assault. She was taken to LCCC.

Theft

• At 6:05 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 2000 block of Jordan Avenue to investigate the report from a 29-year-old man who reported someone stole the tip jar from Papa John’s.
