Child abuse

• At at 10:24 p.m. Friday, Juneau Police Department conducted a confidential investigation into child abuse in the Juneau area.

Driving while intoxicated

• At 3:07 a.m. Saturday, Jaime Sanchez, 24, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 2700 block of Egan Drive. He was taken to LCCC and later released.

Sexual assault

• At 1:25 p.m. Friday, JPD opened a confidential investigation into a sexual assault in the Juneau area.

Theft

• At 4:45 p.m. Friday, a 37-year-old female reported the theft of her wallet, which contained cash, a debit card and cellphone in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

• At 4:31 p.m. Friday, a 25-year-old female reported the theft of cash in the 11000 block of Auke Lake Way.

• At 8:10 p.m. Friday, a 1997 Honda Civic was reported stolen but was recovered a few hours later. No arrests were made.

Trespassing

• At 4:25 p.m. Friday, Oscar Snell, 46, was arrested for criminal trespass after returning to an apartment complex after being trespassed from the property. Later that day, Snell was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center for trespassing at the same apartment complex at 9100 Cinema Drive.

Vehicle theft

• At 4:04 p.m. Friday, JPD opened an investigation into the report of a vehicle theft in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.
