Animal Complaint

At 12:12 p.m. on Wednesday, Juneau Police Department assisted animal control with an investigation in the Juneau area.

Assault

At 12:17 p.m. on Wednesday, 45-year-old Russell Powell was arrested on Hospital Drive for assault on a police officer and resisting arrest. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Attempt to Serve

At 12:02 a.m. on Thursday, 31-year-old Alexandra Atkinson was arrested on Vintage Boulevard on three warrants issued for failure to appear for the original charge of driving while license was revoked, larceny and violating conditions of release. She was taken to LCCC.

Conditions Release

At 10:01 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD assisted the probation department on Teal Street with a remand.

At 6:09 a.m. on Thursday, a 37-year-old man reported a 37-year-old woman violated a domestic violence protective order in the Juneau area.

Driving While Intoxicated

At 11:03 p.m. on Thursday, 18-year-old Levi Woodbury was arrested on Eagle Street for driving while intoxicated after the car he was driving struck a mailbox. He was taken to LCCC and the vehicle was impounded.

At 11:29 p.m. on Wednesday, 42-year-old Christopher West was arrested on Vintage Boulevard for driving while intoxicated. West was taken to LCCC.

Fraud

At 12:19 p.m. on Wednesday, a 50-year-old man reported fraudulent activity with a credit agency in the Juneau area.

Shoplifting

At 6:24 a.m. on Thursday, a 34-year-old man reported the theft of merchandise from a business on Willoughby Avenue.

Traffic Stop

At 12:31 a.m. on Thursday, 29-year-old Alfred Willis Torres Jr. was arrested on Whittier Street and later released for driving without a license.

At 12:39 a.m. on Thursday, 23-year-old Tristen Hunter was arrested in the Juneau area and later released for driving with a suspended license.

At 7:55 a.m. on Thursday, 46-year-old Michael Kowalcik was arrested on Parkwood Drive and later released for driving while license revoked. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Trespassing

At 9:19 a.m. on Thursday, 41-year-old Jacob Nightower was arrested on Shell Simmons Drive for trespass. He was taken to LCCC.
