Police calls for Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017

Fugitive from justice

• At 7:57 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested Anthony Papa, 34, for being a fugitive from justice in the 2000 block of Lemon Creek Road. Papa was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail.

Theft

• At 12:40 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report from a 61-year-old female of the theft of a log splitter in the 9600 block of Moraine Way.

• At 3:24 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report from a 62-year-old male of the theft of gas from his vehicle in the 8400 block of Livingston Way.

• At 4:17 p.m. Thursday, JPD continued an investigation into the theft of fuel from Gas-N-Go in the 5100 block of Glacier Highway. The suspect was seen on camera.

• At 10:24 a.m. Friday, JPD learned of a case where a subject pawned items that didn’t belong to them, loaned from a business in the Juneau area. Investigation continues in this case.

Vandalism

• At 2:36 a.m. Friday, JPD continued an investigation into criminal mischief in the 4000 block of Delta Drive.

• At 7:39 a.m. Friday, a 56-year-old male reported vandalism to his property in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.
