Assault
• At 7:08 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of an assault in the 1600 block of Anka Street. Investigation continues.
Burglary
• At 4:47 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Barry Allan Elsworth, 40, in the 9400 block of Carrol Place for second-degree burglary. Elsworth was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held with no bail.
Domestic violence
• At 11:39 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of domestic violence assault in the Juneau area. Alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.
• At 12:25 a.m. Thursday, JPD arrested a man for domestic violence assault in the Juneau area.
Drunken driving
• At 2:56 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Thomas Kito, 55, in the 4200 block of Douglas Highway for driving under the influence. Kito was charged with driving with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent, and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Fraud
• At 5:53 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of fraud in the Juneau area, and the reported fraud was found to be a civil matter.
• At 11:05 Thursday, JPD responded to the report of check fraud in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.
Shoplifting
• At 2:22 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of shoplifting in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. Investigation continues.
Theft
• At 1:19 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of a Ford Expedition being vandalized in the 2000 block of Jordan Avenue, and that the suspect or suspects apparently attempted to steal it.
• At 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of a woman, 29, in the 1900 block of Lemon Creek Road who reported the theft of heating fuel.
• At 7:18 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of a woman, 33, in the 3700 block of Amalga Street who reported a stolen cellphone. The phone was later retrieved.
Vandalism
• At 1:14 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of vandalism in the 10600 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. Investigation continues.
• At 10:08 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of vandalism to a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Willoughby Avenue.
