Police calls for Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017

Assault

• At 11:31 p.m. Wednesday, 23-year-old Felisc T. Ropati was arrested in the 8900 block of Mendenhall Loop Road for burglary and assault.

Hunting violation

• On Thursday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Juneau issued Benjamin Fetterhoff, 24 of Juneau, and Andrew Fetterhoff, 20 of Homer, summons for each taking a goat in the Eagle Glacier area of GMU Unit 1C. The Eagle Glacier area was closed before the start of the hunting season by emergency order due to poor weather not allowing Fish and Game to properly survey the area to make sure there were enough goats to prosecute a hunt.

Probation violation

• At 7:46 a.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department assisted the probation department by remanding 41-year-old Adam Poprycz in the 11700 block of Glacier Highway.

Theft

• At 1:38 p.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a theft at Juneau International Airport. The stolen item was recovered, and the victim declined to press charges.

• At 3:51 p.m. Wednesday JPD arrested 28-year-old Lacy Siverly for shoplifting in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway. She was cited and released.

Vandalism

• At 4:26 p.m. Wednesday, a 63-year-old man reported someone had broken into his locked vehicle in the 300 block of Gastineau Avenue, damaging it.
