Assault
• At 2:51 a.m. Monday, Juneau Police Department arrested 28-year-old Benjamin Parson on the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive for assault and criminal mischief. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Assist
• At 12:48 a.m. Monday, JPD assisted Capital City Fire/Rescue with a suspicious motorcycle fire on the 2000 block of Skaters Cabin Road.
Burglary
• At 1:23 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a call on the 1200 block of Pike Court where a 71-year-old man reported his home had been burglarized.
• At 8:59 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a call on the 17600 block of Point Lena Loop Road where a 77-year-old man reported his home was burglarized and several thousand dollars worth of jewelry stolen.
• At 9:05 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a call on the 100 block of Franklin Street where a 29-year-old man reported an attempted burglary.
Death
• At 12:23 a.m. Monday, JPD investigated the death of a 68-year-old man on the 800 block of Twelfth Street. The death was not considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.
Domestic dispute
• At 2:23 p.m. Monday, JPD arrested an 18-year-old woman in the Juneau area for domestic assault. She was taken to LCCC.
• At 1:54 a.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested a 33-year-old woman for domestic assault in the Juneau area. She was taken to LCCC.
Theft
• At 4 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a call on the 8700 block of Glacier Highway where a 51-year-old reported merchandise was stolen from a business and later recovered.
Vandalism
• At 8:16 p.m. Monday, JPD arrested 36-year-old Brandon Joseph Johnson for vandalism and violating conditions of release.
