Drunken driving

• At 9:39 p.m. on Monday, 47-year-old Edward Lee Hayes was arrested for driving under the influence on the 8400 block of Thunder Mountain Road and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Shoplifting

• At 9:11 a.m. on Tuesday, a 36-year-old man reported the theft of a bottle of alcohol from a store on the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.
