Assault
• At 11:59 a.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 8600 block of Marilyn Avenue to investigate the report of a man, 29, who reported an assault with a weapon. Police later determined that no crime occurred, JPD Public Safety Manager Erann Kalwara said.
Conditions violation
• At 9:55 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the report of a fight in the 100 block of Marine Way and arrested a 32-year-old man for violating pretrial conditions. The man was arrested at the request of State Pretrial Enforcement, Kalwara said, and she was not sure if JPD has the authority to share the man’s name, as JPD did not have a warrant. Alcohol was a factor. The man was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Drunken driving
• At 1:19 a.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested Kaitelyn McDonald, 23, in the 5400 block of Egan Drive for driving under the influence. Her blood-alcohol content was measured at 0.147 percent. She was taken to LCCC.
Shoplifting
• At 1:44 p.m. Monday, JPD arrested Priscilla Rice Brown, 58, in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway for larceny. Alcohol was a factor. Brown was taken to LCCC.
Vandalism
• At 12:40 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 300 block of Franklin Street to investigate the reported vandalism of a food cart. Investigation continues.
• At 1:38 p.m. Monday, JPD arrested Bethany Kunkle, 32, in the 800 block of Glacier Avenue for criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and violating conditions of release. She was taken to LCCC.
• At 8:11 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 1700 block of Ralph’s Way to investigate the report of illegal dumping. Investigation continues.
Vehicle rifling
• At 1:27 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 9000 block of Cinema Drive to investigate the report of vehicle rifling and the theft of a purse.
