Assault
• At 9:20 a.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of an assault in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is continuing.
• At 2:23 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of an assault in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.
Assist
• At 1:07 a.m. Friday, JPD created a case for an agency assist in the2900 block of Linda Avenue. Alcohol was involved.
Burglary
• At 2:20 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a burglary of a residence in the 16900 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.
• At 6:24 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Matthew Richey, 30, for burglary, criminal mischief and theft on Marine Way.
• At 11:03 a.m. Friday, JPD received a report of burglary in the 12200 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.
Chid abuse
• At 9:38 a.m. Friday, JPD received a confidential report of child abuse/neglect in the Juneau area.
Criminal mischief
• At 4:25 a.m. Friday, JPD received a report of criminal mischief to a business in the 9300 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.
• At 10:35 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of vandalism in the 4100 block of Aspen Avenue. Investigation continues.
Disorderly conduct
• At 9:03 p.m. Thursday, JPD cited and released Demitri Merculief, 22, for disorderly conduct on Egan Drive. Alcohol was involved.
Domestic violence
• At 12:28 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a domestic violence protective order in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.
• At 9:38 p.m. Thursday, a 57-year-old man reported being assaulted in a domestic violence incident in the Juneau area. Alcohol was involved.
• At 10:42 p.m. Thursday, a 34-year-old woman reported a 40-year-old man violated the conditions of his release by contacting her in the Juneau area.
• At 7:24 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested a 34-year-old woman in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail.
Driving under the influence
• At 3:12 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Amanda Kaye, 19, for driving under the influence of marijuana on Glacier Highway Access Road. She was later released on her recognizance.
Drug activity
• At 7:35 p.m. Thursday, JPD disposed of syringes and other possible drug paraphernalia found on Glacier Spur Road.
Drunk driving
• At 10:38 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested Kacy Field, 34, for driving under the influence in the 8500 block of Valley Boulevard. She was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.
Motor vehicle crash
• At 1:11 p.m. Thursday, JPD created a case for information about a motor vehicle crash in the 200 block of Front Street.
• At 4:50 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of a motor vehicle crash between a vehicle and a building in the 3400 block of Foster Avenue. Investigation continues.
• At 9:54 a.m. Saturday, a 26-year-old man reported his parked Mercury Sable was struck by an unknown vehicle in the 300 block of Fourth Street and sustained damage to the right front fender.
• At 3:15 p.m. Saturday, a 53-year-old man reported and unknown vehicle struck his parked rental vehicle in the 300 block of Fourth Street, damaging the driver door.
Shoplifting
• At 12:20 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report than an unknown female stole approximately $30 worth of food from Safeway in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.
• At 9:17 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of shoplifting in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. Investigation continues.
• At 1:40 a.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of shoplifting in the 2200 block of Trout Street. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.
Suspicious activity
• At 10:45 p.m. Saturday, JPD seized a vehicle key in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway for safekeeping.
• At 9:22 a.m. Sunday, JPD seized a 1994 Chevy Blazer as evidence in the 17900 block of Point Stephens Road.
Theft
• At 9:19 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested Kayla Balovich, 20, for larceny after stealing money from a business in the 8900 block of Glacier Highway.
• At 4:19 p.m. Friday, a 30-year-old woman reported the theft of her wallet valued at approximately $40 from her porch in the 3800 block of Bayview Avenue.
• At 4:37 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a theft in the 1700 block of Glacier Avenue. Investigation continues.
• At 3:56 p.m. Friday, JPd received a report of theft of a purse in the 400 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.
• At 11:21 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of theft in the 2500 block of Vista Drive. Investigation continues.
• At 1:57 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of theft and vandalism from a building in the 9200 block of James Boulevard. Investigation continues.
Trespassing
• At 12:31 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of criminal trespassing in the 10000 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.
• At 8:09 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Andre Pardee Lawrence, 37, for criminal trespassing and assault in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. He was taken to LCCC in lieu of a $1,500 bail.
Theft
• At 12:28 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of criminal trespassing in the 300 block of Fourth Street. Investigation continues.
Vandalism
• At 12:22 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of vandalism to an animal crate at the Gastineau Humane Society, causing approximately $25 in damage, in the 7700 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.
• At 12:34 a.m. Saturday, a 53-year-old man reported a tired was slashed on his red 2004 Subaru Impreza in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.
• At 7:41 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report that a Capital Transit bus on Egan Drive was vandalized. Investigation continues.
• At 11:43 a.m. Sunday, a 26-year-old man reported his vehicle had been vandalized and broken into, with the inside of the cab being set on fire, in the 36000 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.
Welfare check
• At 2:30 p.m. Saturday, JPD conducted a welfare check on two children in the 3000 block of Dimond Park Loop and the Officer of Children’s Services was contacted.
