Assault
• At 8:59 p.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 400 block of Franklin Street to investigate the report of a man, 33, who reported an unknown man assaulted him and threw his backpack in the water. Alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.
Burglary
• At 5:03 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 1000 block of Salmon Creek Lane to investigate the report of a man, 25, who reported a burglary at a business on Salmon Creek Lane. Investigation continues.
Child abuse/neglect
• At 5:17 p.m. Friday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of harm in the Juneau area.
Domestic violence
• At 2:07 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the report of criminal mischief domestic violence in the Juneau area.
• At 4:23 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the reported violation of a domestic violence protective order in the Juneau area.
• At 6:51 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the report of an assault in the Juneau area. Alcohol was a factor.
• At 3:39 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 33-year-old woman in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. Alcohol was a factor. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
• At 8:15 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 26-year-old woman in the Juneau area for unlawful contact and violating conditions of release. She was taken to LCCC and held without bail.
• At 8:56 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 26-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. He was taken to LCCC.
• At 5:51 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the report of a domestic assault in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.
Drug misconduct
• At 2:16 a.m. Sunday, JPD destroyed drug paraphernalia that was found in the 100 block of Franklin Street.
Drunken driving
• At 12:59 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Gretchyn O’Donnell, 22, on St. Ann’s Avenue for driving under the influence. Her breath-alcohol content was measured at 0.128 percent, and her car was impounded. She was taken to LCCC and later released on her own recognizance.
• At 1:04 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Alicia Sky Jones, 27, in the 900 block of 10th Street for driving under the influence. Her breath-alcohol content was measured at 0.194 percent, and her car was impounded. She was taken to LCCC.
• At 3:32 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Yovana Willard, 21, in the 4000 block of Glacier Highway for driving under the influence. Her breath-alcohol content was measured at 0.198 percent, and she was taken to LCCC.
Rescue
• At 12:02 a.m. Sunday, JPD assisted Capital City Fire/Rescue in rescuing two injured people from Gold Creek at Cope Park. Read more on Page A1.
Shoplifting
• At 12:08 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 400 block of Whittier Street to investigate the reported theft of alcohol.
• At 3:28 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 400 block of Whittier Street to investigate the reported theft of alcohol. Investigation continues.
• At 4:47 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 1900 block of Crest Street to investigate the report of a man, 26, who reported a theft from a business.
• At 5:06 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Franklin Street to investigate the reported theft of liquor and food from Alaska Cache Liquor.
• At 8:56 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 300 block of Franklin Street to investigate the report of shoplifting at Tracy’s King Crab Shack. Investigation continues.
• At 10:29 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested River Parrish, 21, in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue on an outstanding Alaska State Troopers warrant. He was also charged with larceny and criminal trespass.
Theft
• At 1:38 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 3100 block of Wilma Avenue to investigate the report of a bicycle theft.
• At 6:03 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 9400 block of Carrol Place to investigate the report of a theft. Investigation continues.
• At 9:27 p.m. Friday, JPD responded ot the downtown area to investigate the report of a man, 19, who reported a 29-year-old man borrowed and then stole his silver iPhone 8+ that is worth an estimated $1,000.
• At 8:55 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 2500 block of Barrett Avenue to investigate the reported theft of a girls purple Fuji mountain bicycle worth an estimated $300 and a DK blue Mongoose boys BMX-style bicycle worth an estimated $200.
• At 11:08 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 3600 block of Amalga Street to investigate the report of a man, 50, who reported the theft of a bicycle.
Vandalism
• At 4:25 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 1600 block of Renninger Street to investigate the report of criminal mischief. Alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.
• At 4:39 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 1800 block of Northwood Drive to investigate the report of criminal mischief. Investigation continues.
• At 2:23 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 3200 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate the report of a woman, 48, who reported damage to her vehicle.
Vehicle rifling
• At 1:37 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 1600 block of Maplesden Way to investigate the report of vehicle rifling. Investigation continues.
• At 4:54 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 1200 block of Harbor Way to investigate the report of a man, 66, who reported the theft of items from his vehicle.
• At 7:57 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 8100 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a woman, 66, who reported a skateboard had been stolen from her vehicle.
• At 9:43 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Sixth Street to investigate the report of a woman, 60, who reported two vehicles had been rifled through and items had been stolen.
• At 10:40 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 400 block of Alaska Belle Court to investigate the report of a man, 48, who reported vehicle rifling and the theft of property. Investigation continues.
• At 9:09 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 2400 block of Douglas Highway to investigate the report of a woman, 69, who reported her 2003 Subaru had been rifled through sometime the previous night.
Warrant arrest
• At 6:24 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Dustin McCurdy, 33, on a $50 warrant on Alta Court. He was additionally charged with driving with a revoked license, and was taken to LCCC.
• At 10:33 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Barry Ellsworth, 40, in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road on an outstanding Alaska State Troopers warrant and a Pretrial remand. He was taken to LCCC.
