Police calls for Tuesday, March 9, 2021

Assault

At 7:38 a.m. on Saturday, Juneau Police Department investigated the report of an assault in the 100 block of Fourth Street.

At 2:37 p.m. on Saturday, a 32-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence- assault and domestic violence- criminal mischief, as well as for a JPD warrant and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor.

Assist

At 3:31 a.m. on Saturday, JPD assisted Capital City Fire/Rescue in responding to a fire in the 8600 block of Teal Street.

Child abuse

At 11:40 p.m. on Friday, JPD investigated a report of child abuse.

Conditions violation

At 4:37 p.m. on Friday, Kristi Ellen Willis was arrested on charges of concealment of merchandise and was taken to LCCC. Willis was additionally arrested on three Alaska State Troopers warrants and a charge of violating conditions of release.

At 8:18 p.m. on Friday, a 44-year-old man was arrested for unlawful contact and violating conditions of release. He was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

At 8:35 p.m. on Saturday, 36-year-old Reyna Marie Regalado was arrested for violating conditions of release in the 700 block of Willoughby Avenue and taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

At 12:04 p.m. on Sunday, a 28-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence- unlawful contact and taken to LCCC.

At 12:05 p.m. on Sunday, JPD investigated the report of a sex offender failing to register correctly.

At 9:08 a.m. on Monday, 26-year-old Kristian Steven Elliott Petaja was cited and released for larceny and violating conditions of release in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.

Disabled vehicle

At 6:47 p.m. on Saturday, a disabled vehicle in the 6500 block of Egan Drive was impounded for being a traffic hazard.

Disturbance

At 12:05 a.m. on Sunday, JPD documented a disturbance in the the 3600 block of Amalga Street.

Driving while intoxicated

At 9:08 p.m. on Saturday, 60-year-old Caleb Ewin Stewart was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 8800 block of Egan Drive and taken to LCCC. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

At 10:59 a.m. on Sunday, 36-year-old Wilfred Alfred Dundas was arrested for driving while intoxicated, assault, and two counts of reckless endangerment in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway and taken to LCCC. The vehicle he was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.

Harassment

At 7:57 a.m. on Monday, JPD documented a case of harassment.

Lost property

At 11:23 a.m. on Saturday, an 89-year-old woman reported her wallet and medication lost in the 1500 block of Glacier Highway.

Motor vehicle crash

At 7:37 a.m. on Saturday, JPD assisted Alaska Electric, Light & Power and Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities for downed power lines across the road in the 6000 block of Douglas Highway.

Shots fired

At 11:42 a.m. on Sunday, JPD responded to a call about misconduct involving weapons in the 15800 block of Glacier Highway.

Theft

At 3:05 p.m. on Friday, JPD investigated a report of a theft from a business in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway.

At 9:45 p.m. on Friday, JPD investigated theft from a building in the 300 block of Whittier Street.

At 8:21 p.m on Friday., JPD responded to a report of theft from a vehicle on Egan Drive.

Traffic stop

At 9:40 a.m. on Sunday, JPD investigated a report of a 50-year-old woman driving without a valid license.

At 9:57 a.m. on Monday, 50-year old Nadine Kathleen Peratrovich was cited and released for driving without a valid license in the 800 block of Glacier Avenue.

Trespassing

At 9:27 p.m. on Friday, a 32-year-old woman was located and escorted out of an unauthorized area at Juneau International Airport.

At 9:44 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report of trespass at a business in the 9200 block of Glacier Highway.

At 12:24 p.m. on Saturday, 28-year-old Katrina Ethel Fraker was cited and released for criminal trespassing the 9300 block of Glacier Highway.

At 12:05 a.m. on Sunday, 55-year-old David Frank Rose Jr. was arrested for criminal trespass in the 100 block of Main Street and taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

At 5:53 p.m. on Sunday, a 61-year-old man reported a man trespassed at a local business in the 5200 block of Commercial Boulevard.

At 11:38 p.m. on Sunday, 34-year-old Jeffrey Charles Garrison was arrested for criminal trespass in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard and taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

Warrant arrest

At 8:44 p.m. on Friday, 32-year-old Michael Jonah Lane was arrested on a charge of driving without a valid license and a JPD warrant for failure to appear. At the same time, 38-year-old Johnnie Jay Gamble, Lane’s passenger, was arrested on a JPD warrant for failure to appear and an Alaska State Troopers warrant for failure to appear. Both were taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
