Police calls for Tuesday, May 2, 2023

Assault

At 8:25 a.m. on Friday, Juneau police officers responded to a report of a 49-year-old trespassing at a local business on Stephen Richards Memorial Road.

Attempt to Serve

At 11:40 p.m. on Saturday, 24-year-old Tanisha Williams was arrested on Northwood Drive on three separate warrants for failure to appear for the original charge of criminal mischief and violating conditions of release, as well as two for the original charge of driving under the influence and assault. She was taken to LCCC.

Boating Under the Influence

At 12:40 p.m. on Sunday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers arrested 60-year-old Donald Campbell for operating his vessel while under the influence. He was taken to LCCC.

Conditions Violation

At 8:36 p.m. on Friday, 47-year-old Luonda Austin was arrested on Calhoun Avenue and was later released for violating conditions of release. It was determined that alcohol was a factor in this case.

Harassment

At 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, JPD created a case to document a report of harassment on Renninger Street.

Disturbance

At 7:32 p.m. on Thursday, JPD responded to a disturbance involving animals on Douglas Highway.

At 6:22 p.m. on Friday, a 16-year-old boy was arrested for domestic violence assault in the Juneau area and was taken to LCCC.

At 9:29 p.m. on Sunday, 38-year-old Sharporia Glaspy was arrested on Riverside Drive for criminal mischief and was taken to LCCC.

Domestic Dispute

At 6:18 p.m. on Thursday, JPD responded to an altercation between a 40-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman on Glacier Highway.

At 10:51 p.m. on Thursday, a 26-year-old man was arrested in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault and was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. It was determined that alcohol was a factor in this case.

At 11:51 p.m. on Friday, JPD responded to an altercation between a 34-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman on Amalga Street.

At 12:40 a.m. on Saturday, a 28-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence assault, violating conditions of release and two warrants for failure to appear for the original charge of driving without a license and violating conditions of release. She was taken to LCCC.

Motor Vehicle Crash with Injury

At 6:15 p.m. on Friday, JPD responded to a single-vehicle accident involving a 2016 Ford Escape driven by a 31-year-old woman on Egan Drive.

Suspicious Activity

At 9:29 a.m. on Saturday, 46-year-old Timothy Earl Ebona was arrested on Glacier Highway for violating conditions of release and was taken to LCCC.

Traffic Hazard

At 5:57 a.m. on Friday, a 2001 Subaru Legacy was impounded on Glacier Highway.

Trespassing

At 1:12 p.m. on Friday, JPD conducted an investigation into a reported trespass on Glacier Highway.

Welfare Check

At 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, 52-year-old Richard Brommels was arrested on Tenth Street on three felony warrants for the original charges of second-degree burglary and third-degree escape.
