Police calls for Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017

Assault

• At 3:21 a.m. Saturday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of an assault in the 1600 block of Douglas Highway. Alcohol was involved.

Burglary

• At 2:34 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of a burglary in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 10:24 a.m. Saturday, JPD investigated a burglary in the 9300 block of Lee Smith Drive.

Disturbance

• At 5:53 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to a report of a disturbance in the 3400 block of Glacier Highway.

Drug activity

• At 2:45 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to a report of drug activity in the 1100 block of Slim Williams Way.

Drunken driving

• At 2:23 a.m. Saturday, Christopher Stansell, 33, was arrested in the 8700 block of Dudley Street for driving while intoxicated and driving without a license. His breath alcohol concentration was 0.102 percent. His vehicle was impounded, and he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center where he was later released.

• At 3:09 a.m. Saturday, Ronny Paul Lepoidevin, 58, was arrested on Trinity Drive for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license. His breath alcohol concentration was 0.182 percent. He was taken to LCCC and held on $500 bail. His vehicle was impounded.

Fight

• At 5:37 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a fight in the 6300 block of Glacier Highway, and investigated an assault. Alcohol was involved.

Fraud

• At 12:59 p.m. Friday, JPD investigated fraudulent use of bank checks in the 2700 block of Postal Way. Investigation continues.

Harassment

• At 1:19 p.m. Friday, Priscilla Rice was cited and released for harassment on Egan Drive.

Shoplift

• At 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of shoplifting in the 2200 block of Trout Street.

Theft

• At 3:23 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report that approximately $420 worth of heating fuel was stolen sometime since Aug. 15 in the 100 block of Sitka Street.

• At 2:48 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of $10 worth of gasoline stolen in the 9100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 12:02 a.m. Saturday, a woman reported her unattended backpack was stolen off a sidewalk in the 300 block of Gold Street.

Warrant arrest

At 12:02 a.m. Saturday, JPD contacted two people in a parked vehicle in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway , and found one of them, 25-year-old Jordan Mills, had an outstanding $250 JPD warrant. She was arrested. JPD is investigating the other person, a 35-year-old man, for possible being non-compliant with the Sex Offender Registry.

• On Sunday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Juneau Post, conducted a traffic stop on a red Dodge Ram pickup at Hospital Drive for traffic violations. Investigation revealed that two passengers in the vehicle had warrants for their arrest. The passengers were identified as Desiree Littlefield, 23 of Juneau, and Jeremy Pittser, 39 of Fairbanks. Littlefield had two outstanding JPD warrants for criminal trespass totaling $100. Pittser had an outstanding Fairbanks AST $500 warrant for Theft III. During the contact, Pittser fled on foot. It was later learned that JPD had warned the driver of the vehicle who was identified as Kayla Mcintosh, 33 of Juneau, the previous day that Pittser had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and they had been contacted together. At that time Pittser had fled on foot as well. Littlefield was placed under arrest for her warrants and transported to LCCC where she was held on $100 bail. Mcintosh was placed under arrest for hindering prosecution in the second degree, a misdemeanor, and transported to LCCC where she was later released on her own recognizance. JPD and Troopers were unable to locate Pittser in the area. Anyone who has information on Pittser’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Alaska State Troopers in Juneau at 465-4000, or JPD at 586-0600.

• On Saturday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Juneau Post, received a complaint about illegal hunting activities near a residence on Montana Creek Road. During the investigation, troopers contacted a witness who was found to have two outstanding $100 JPD warrants for driving with a revoked license. That person was identified as Frederick Damer III, 54 of Juneau. While Damer was being arrested, it was discovered that he had a handgun concealed on his person that he had failed to disclose to Troopers. Further investigation revealed that Damer was a felon and was prohibited from possessing the handgun. Damer was placed under arrest for the warrants and additionally charged with misconduct involving weapons in the third degree, a felony, and misconduct involving weapons in the fifth degree, a misdemeanor. Damer was taken to LCCC where he was held without bail. The handgun he was in possession of was seized as evidence.
