Police calls for Wednesday, April 24, 2019

Assault

• At 6:55 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Franklin Street to investigate a 61-year-old woman’s report that a 55-year-old man had assaulted her.

Burglary

• At 10:05 p.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Leslie Adam Chilton, 31, in the 9200 block of Gee Street for criminal trespassing. Chilton was taken to LCCC.

• At 10:42 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 5900 block of North Street to investigate a 42-year-old woman’s report that her rental property had been burglarized.

Wildlife violations

• On Saturday, Juneau-based Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Juneau residents Deven Mason, 19, and Derek Mason, 18, for sport fishing where prohibited. Troopers had spoken to the Masons while they were sport fishing at the mouth of Peterson Creek. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game had closed Peterson Creek Salt Chuck and the saltwater within 200 yards of the creek mouth by emergency order due to steelhead conservation concerns. The citations were for $120 each.
