Burglary

• At 3:12 p.m. Sunday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 5900 block of Churchill Way to investigate the reported burglary of an unoccupied residence and theft of an estimated $2,000 worth of tools. Investigation continues.

Fraud

• At 9:45 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the report of fraud in the Juneau area.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 11:28 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 2500 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate the report of a hit and run involving two motor vehicles. No injuries were reported, and police say the damage was minor. Investigation continues.

Shoplifting

• At 11:02 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the reported theft of liquor from Thibodeau’s Home Liquor in the 400 block of West Willoughby Avenue. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 1:43 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 11400 block of Auke Bay Harbor Road to investigate the report of a man, 58, who reported a theft.

Vehicle rifling

• At 3:47 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to Warrior Street to investigate the report of vehicle rifling. Investigation continues.

Wildlife violation

• On June 28, Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Washington resident Paul Skeffington, 64, for failing to fill out his 2018 sport fish guide logbook as required. Bail was set at $210 in Juneau District Court.

• On June 29, Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Petersburg resident Daniel Zeik, 51, for not having his commercial Dungeness gear marked as required. Arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 2 in Juneau District Court.

• On Sunday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Gustavus resident Juanita Proctor, 35, for retaining undersized king salmon. Proctor, the permit holder above the F/V Silverlance, was found with multiple king salmon aboard her commercial trolling vessel that were less than 28 inches in length. Arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 2 in Juneau District Court.

• On Monday, Hoonah-based Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Haines resident Daniel Kendryna, 24, for unlawfully commercial drift gillnetting on board the F/V Slipstream during a closed period in Commercial District 11D. Kendryna was given a court date of July 19 in Juneau District Court.
