Burglary
• At 7:43 a.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of burglary in the 300 block of South Franklin Street. Investigation continues.
Child abuse
• At 2:55 p.m. Wednesday, JPD began a confidential investigation into a report of child abuse in the Juneau area.
Domestic violence
• At 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, a 45-year-old woman reported she was punched in the face by a male acquaintance about a week and a half ago in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.
Fire and medical
• On Wednesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to seven EMS calls, three transport calls and one vehicle collision on Egan Drive that did not involve injuries.
Shoplifting
• At 10:09 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of approximately $650 in merchandise shoplifted in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.
Theft
• At 1 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a stolen oxygen tank from a business in the 10000 business of Camden Place.
• At 11:05 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of embezzlement on Industrial Boulevard.
Trespassing
• At 12:11 a.m. Thursday, JPD cited and released Rodney Jackson, 47, for criminal trespassing at a business on Marine Way. Alcohol was involved.
Vandalism
• At 3:48 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a discharged firearm in the 12300 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. Investigation continues.
• At 10:57 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of vandalism to a public building on Egan Drive. Investigation continues.
Vehicle trespassing
• At 9:44 a.m. Thursday, a 64-year-old man reported a DVD player was stolen from his car in the 2000 block of Jordan Avenue.
