Assault

• At 8:01 p.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department cited Deanna Abrams, 47, for assault in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive.

Burglary

• At 10:22 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a burglary report in the 1900 block of Davis Avenue. Investigation continues.

Child abuse

• At 4:17 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of child abuse on the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Domestic violence

• At 2:19 a.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested a woman in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault and took her to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.

Fire and medical

• On Tuesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to 12 EMS calls and one medical transport in the area throughout the day. At 3:27 p.m., firefighters were dispatched for an electrical smell on National Park Service Road. On arrival, units did not detect anything.

• On Wednesday, CCFR responded to 11 EMS calls and three medical transports.

Fraud

• At 7:55 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a fraud report in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Suspicious vehicle

• At 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, JPD contacted two women and a man inside a suspicious vehicle in the 8800 block of Glacier Highway. The vehicle was determined to have been stolen. The three people were identified and released. Investigation continues, as there was possible evidence of additional thefts inside the vehicle. JPD does not usually release names of suspects until charges are brought.

Theft

• At 11:32 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of the theft of tires in the 5300 block of Commercial Boulevard. Investigation continues.

Vehicle rifling

• At 1:51 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report by a 45-year-old man in the 15600 block of Glacier Highway that his vehicle was rifled through.

• At 3:41 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report by a 28-year-old man in the 2500 block of Sunset Drive that his unlocked vehicle was rifled through and a computer valued at $1,500 was stolen. Investigation continues.
