Fire and medical

• On Wednesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to nine EMS calls, one false fire alarm, one call to assist a disabled person at home, one call about a permitted burn and one call about a burn ban violation.

Warrant served

• At 8:48 a.m. Thursday, Alaska State Troopers arrested Juneau resident Brett King, 53, on two outstanding warrant for violating his parole and failing to comply with his conditions of probation. King was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center where he was held without bail.
