Alarm

• At 5:52 a.m., the Juneau Police Department responded to an alarm at a business in the 3400 block of Glacier Highway.

Burglary

• At 5:42 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to a burglary at a business in the 3200 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

Death

• At 12:10 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report of the death of a 75-year-old man in the 8200 block of Birch Lane. There were no signs of foul play and investigation continues.

Fire and medical

•On Thursday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to 12 EMS calls in the area throughout the day. At 12:55 p.m. Thursday, firefighters were dispatched for an active carbon monoxide alarm on Douglas Highway, which had been triggered by dead batteries.

Fraud

• At 4:15 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of fraud in the 600 block of WilloughbyAvenue.

• At 5:52 p.m., JPD responded to a reported fraud in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 3:37 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of the theft of a backpack from a business in the 3300 block of Douglas Highway. Investigation continues.

Trespassing

• At 3:01 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a trespassing report in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

• At 11:34 a.m. Friday, JPD cited Ernest Roy Johnson Jr., 28, for criminal trespass after he returned to the waiting area of the downtown transit center on Egan Drive, after he had been verbally trespassed for 24 hours.

Vandalism

• At 8:33 a.m. Friday, JPD received a report of vandalism to mailboxes on Franklin Street. Investigation continues.
