Assault
• At 1:50 a.m. Saturday, Juneau Police Department responded to a disturbance in the 9400 block of Glacier Highway and arrested Bailey Johnson, 30, for assault and criminal mischief; Johnson was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Burglary
•At 8:53 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a reported burglary in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway; investigation continues.
• At 10:37 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to a reported burglary in the 400 block of Sixth Street; investigation continues.
Child abuse
• At 11:21 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report regarding the sexual abuse of minors in the Juneau area; investigation continues.
Domestic dispute
• At 6:10 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to a report of domestic violence in the Juneau area; investigation continues.
• At 10:58 p.m. Friday, a 34-year-old man in the Juneau area was arrested for second-degree assault and third-degree misconduct involving weapons, and was taken to LCCC without bail.
• At 6:14 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a welfare check in the Juneau area and arrested a 45-year-old man for criminal mischief and domestic violence assault; he was taken to LCCC.
Disturbance
• At 12:40 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to a disturbance on Egan Drive and arrested Ricardo Willard, 51, for disorderly conduct; he was taken to LCCC.
• At 2:34 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Andrew Jamestown, 24, for disorderly conduct on Marine Way; he was taken to LCCC.
• At 5:29 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a disturbance in the 1500 block of Third Street; alcohol was involved.
Drug activity
• At 5:02 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a confidential report about drug activity in the Juneau area.
• At 12:39 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to a welfare check in the 2200 block of Trout Street and impounded a vehicle to be searched for drugs.
• At 9:36 p.m. Friday, JPD received a drug activity report regarding a minor in the Juneau area.
Fire and medical
• On Thursday, Capital City Fire &Rescue responded to seven EMS calls in the area throughout the day. At 11:34 a.m., firefighters responded to an oil spill report on West Willoughby Avenue; an oil sheen was investigated on Gold Creek.
Motor vehicle accident
• At 10 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a three-vehicle accident in the 8100 block of Egan Drive that was determined to be due to vehicles trying to avoid another vehicle that was being driven in the wrong lane. That vehicle left the scene and could not be located; there were no reported injuries.
Shoplifting
• At 1:14 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a shoplifting report in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway and cited Christopher Rogers, 43, for larceny.
• At 2:37 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a shoplifting report from the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard; investigation continues.
Theft
• At 10:13 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report regarding the theft of a jacket valued at $100 from the 5200 block of Commercial Boulevard; investigation continues.
• At 6:20 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to a report by a man in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive that his sister’s bike had been stolen from the porch.
• At 1:09 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to a report of the theft of a boat motor valued at $800 from the 8500 block of Nugget Place; investigation continues.
• At 2:10 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report from a woman in the 200 block of Front Street regarding the theft of her phone.
Trespassing
• At 4:58 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to a trespassing report in the 9100 block of Cinema Drive and arrested Oscar Snell, 45, for criminal trespass; alcohol was involved.
