Domestic dispute

• At 1:28 p.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report by a 30-year-old woman in the Juneau area that she was physically assaulted by her boyfriend; investigation continues.

• At 12:33 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to a report of a domestic violence assault in the Juneau area with alcohol reportedly involved.

Fire and medical

• On Thursday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to 14 EMS calls in the area throughout the day. At 5:30 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire on Gastineau Avenue; the fire had been extinguished and it was investigated for extension and cause. At 9:42 a.m., they responded to a report of smoke in the area of Fourth Street, which was found to be due to boiler maintenance.

Theft

• At 4:23 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a reported theft in the 1700 block of Ralphs Way.

• At 4:31 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report from a caller in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive regarding the theft of a backpack and keys.

• At 5:43 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a reported theft in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive.

• At 7:57 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a theft in the 100 block of Franklin Street.
