Assault
• At 3:01 p.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of an assault in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. Investigation continues.
Domestic violence
• At 4:02 a.m. Thursday, JPD arrested a 51-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault.
Fire and medical
• On Thursday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to six EMS calls and one medical transport around town throughout the day. At 10:44 a.m., CCFR was dispatched for a fire alarm on Fourth Street, but found no signs of smoke or fire. At 11:35 p.m., CCFR was dispatched for a fire alarm on Marine Way, but found no signs of smoke or fire.
Theft
• At 8:04 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report of a theft from the 4400 block of Mendenhall Boulevard. A woman reported a package was stolen that contained a red Kokabi baby carrier worth an estimated $115.
• At 9:12 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report by a woman in the 100 block of Savikko Road that a 40-pound propane tank had been stolen from her boat.
Vehicle in ditch
• At 3:21 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a vehicle in a ditch on Egan Drive; it was impounded for safekeeping.
