Police & Fire for Sunday, July 3, 2016

Burglary

• At 6:29 p.m. Thursday, a 56-year-old woman reported several firearms were stolen from her residence in the 3000 block fo Glacierwood Drive.

Conditions violation

• At 3:42 a.m. Friday, Vincent Paul Guimmayen, 30, was arrested for driving with a revoked license and violating conditions of release following a traffic stop in the 3300 block of Douglas Highway. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Disorderly conduct/resisting arrest

• At 7:56 p.m. Thursday, Vivian Wright, 22, was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest in the 100 block of Marine Way. She was taken to LCCC and held on $250 bail. Alcohol was involved.

Domestic violence

• At 11:25 p.m. Thursday, a woman was arrested for domestic violence criminal mischief and criminal mischief. She was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.

Fishing/hunting violation

• On Thursday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Austin Hooton, 18, for failing to submit his RG015 permit harvest report to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game within the time period stated on the permit.

• At 11:30 a.m. Friday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers arrested Eugene J. Bourdon, 57, for failing to provide a valid 2016 sport license, failing to provide identification or identify himself and for resisting arrest. He was taken to LCCC.

Intoxicated subject

• At 9:17 p.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department responded to an intoxicated subject in the 3300 block of Nowell Avenue. Information only.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 8:26 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles in the 3600 block of Amalga Street. No injuries. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 12:53 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a stolen cellphone. The phone was later recovered.

• At 2:52 p.m. Thursday, a saw, valued at about $700, was reported stolen in the 11400 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

• At 1:44 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a stolen rifle and trombone from a storage unit in the 5400 block of Shaune Drive. Investigation continues.

• At 7:13 p.m. Thursday, a 42-year-old man reported that his black Subaru was taken and being used without his permission by a known 31-year-old woman in the 400 block of Harris Street.

• At 11:55 p.m. Thrusday, a 26-year-old man reported his vheicle was riled in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway, and $500 worth of electronics was stolen.

• At 10:10 a.m. Friday, a 66-year-old woman reported her backpack was stolen in the 1600 block of Glacier Avenue. Investigation continues.

Vandalism

• At 10:04 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a broken car windshield in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. Damages estimated at $200.
