Domestic dispute
• At 10:44 p.m. Wednesday, Juneau Police Department responded to a domestic dispute in the Juneau area and arrested a 34-year-old man on two counts of domestic violence assault; he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center without bail. Alcohol was involved.
• At 12:22 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report from a woman in the Juneau area that a man had assaulted her.
Drug activity
• At 2:51 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received confidential information regarding drug activity in the Juneau area; investigation continues.
Fire and medical
• On Thursday, Capital City Fire &Rescue responded to eight EMS calls and two medical transports in the area throughout the day. At 2:14 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to Point Lena Loop for an active carbon monoxide detector; all findings were normal.
Harassment
• At 10:08 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of online harassment in the Juneau area.
Shoplifting
• At 6:47 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a shoplifting report for the 8700 block of Glacier Highway; investigation continues.
Trespassing
• At 12:27 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a trespassing report in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Drive and arrested Katrina Costello for trespassing and providing false information to an officer.
• At 1:51 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of trespassing and possible theft in the 8500 block of Old Dairy Road; investigation continues.
• At 5:49 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report of possible trespassing in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Drive; investigation continues.
Vandalism
• At 2:17 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a vandalism report from the 600 block of Seventh Street.
Vehicle rifling
• At 12:16 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report from a 64-year-old woman on Egan Drive that her vehicle had been vandalized and rifled through.
