• At 12:08 p.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the report of an assault in the 400 block of Third Street. Investigation continues.

• At 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of an assault in the 8400 block of Thunder Mountain Road. See more information in Friday’s paper.

Burglary

• At 10:16 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of a burglary in the 100 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.

Child abuse/neglect

• At 5:13 p.m. Wednesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of child abuse.

• At 6:24 a.m. Thursday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of child abuse.

Conditions violation

• At 3:52 a.m. Thursday, JPD remanded Jared H. Cheatham, 22, for violating the conditions of his release on University Drive.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 11:47 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of a minor motor vehicle crash in the 4900 block of Wren Drive. Damage only, no injuries.

Structure fire

• At 10:05 p.m. Thursday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to the report of a structure fire in the 1200 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. Damage only, no injuries. Read more on page A3.

Theft

• At 9:31 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of a theft in the 1900 block of Allen Court.

• At 7:51 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report from a business in the 8400 block of Airport Boulevard that fuel had been stolen.
