Burglary

• At 9:57 a.m. Thursday, a 34-year-old man reproted a burglary to a church buidling in the 11000 block of Auke Lake Way. Investigation continues.

Domestic violence

• At 6:28 p.m. Wednesday, a 24-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence related criminal mischief, and he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center without bail.

• At 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a violation of conditions of release. Domestic related. Alcohol was involved.

• At 9:27 p.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department investigated a reported domestic violence protective order violation involving a 29-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man. Alcohol was not involved.

Drug activity

• At 3:36 a.m. Thursday, JPD investigated drug possession in the 2200 block of Trout Street.

Fire and medical

• On Thursday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to four calls: one for an EMS call on Douglas at 7:28 a.m.; a fire alarm triggered by building maintenance on Willoughby Avenue at 12:51 p.m.; an EMS call on Postal Way at 2:13 p.m.; and a call to Mendenhall Loop Road that was canceled en route at 5:59 p.m.

Medical assistance

• At 5:09 p.m. Wednesday, JPD assisted CCFR on a medical response regarding a workplace injury.

Theft

• At 5:18 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of shoplifting from a business in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. Alcohol was involved.

• At 11:37 a.m. Thursday, a 35-yaer-old man reported a tonneau cover galued at around $500 was stolen in the 2600 block of John Street. The caller re-contacted, and ssaid the item had been found.

Vehicle rifling

• At 1:16 p.m. Wednesday, Marina Ogai, 26, was cited and released for entering a vehicle and stealing from it in the 200 block of Marine Way.

• At 9:37 p.m. Wednesday, a 61-year-old man reported a vehicle rifling in the 5900 block of Lund Street. Three hundred dollars was reported stolen from a purse in the vehicle. Alcohol was involved.
