Burglary

• At 10:06 p.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report from a 22-year-old man in the 400 block of Gastineau Avenue regarding someone trespassing in his residence.

Domestic dispute

• At 1:47 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the Juneau area and took a 32-year-old woman to Bartlett Regional Hospital for an involuntary commitment.

Fire and medical

• On Tuesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to 13 EMS calls and three medical transports in the area throughout the day. At 11:34 a.m., firefighters responded to a burn complaint on Patricia Place; the property owners had a valid burn permit and was asked to burn hotter. At 1:45 p.m., they were dispatched to a fire alarm on University Drive that had been triggered by work on the system. At 8:24 p.m., firefighters responded to a burn complaint on Betty Court, where the property owner had a valid burn permit.

Fishing license violation

• On Tuesday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Juneau contacted Argelo Sanchez, 48, of Juneau. Investigation revealed Sanchez was sport fishing at Auke Bay and reportedly had not obtained a sport fishing license for 2017. Sanchez was cited with a bail amount of $210.

Shoplifting

• At 9:04 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of the theft of two rings valued at $205 from a store in the 200 block of Front Street.

Theft

• At 8:22 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of the theft of a DeWalt generator in the 300 block of Gold Street.

Trespassing

• At 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, JPD cited Ricardo Linne Willard, 52, for criminal trespass at a business in the 200 block of Front Street.

Warrant arrest

• At 10:09 a.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested Mark Thiroux, 25, in the 1800 block of Wickersham Avenue, as a fugitive from justice on an extraditable warrant from Washington; he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
