Domestic dispute
• At 4:22 p.m. Saturday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of a domestic assault that occurred earlier in the week in the Juneau area.
• At 12:02 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested a 27-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault; he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail.
Drunken driving
• At 11 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Joseph D. Stewart, 52, for DUI in the 8400 block of Rainbow Row after he reportedly provided a breath sample of 0.176 percent.
Fight
• At 2:49 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report of a large fight in the 200 block of Front Street.
Fire and medical
• On Friday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to 11 EMS calls and one medical transport in the area throughout the day. At 11:59 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of a possible structure fire on Douglas Highway; they located an attended burn and asked the property owners to extinguish the fire until the winds died down.
• On Saturday, CCFR responded to eight EMS calls and five medical transports. At 6:44 p.m., firefighters responded to a fire alarm on Auke Lake Way that had been triggered by burnt food.
• On Sunday, CCFR responded to seven EMS calls and eight medical transports.
Hunting violation
• On Thursday, at 12:32 p.m., Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Palmer contacted Brian Erickson, 46, of Juneau, after he brought a sheep to Alaska Department of Fish &Game to be sealed and it was determined that the sheep was not legal with horns that are full curl, broomed on both sides, or at least 8 years of age as required. Erickson’s sheep horns, meat, and cape were seized. The meat was donated to a charity and Erickson was issued a summons for a mandatory court appearance into Palmer Court for taking a sub-legal sheep.
Larceny
• At 6:09 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Paige Dembow, 22, in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive for larceny; she was taken to LCCC and then released on her own recognizance.
Shoplifting
• At 2:32 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a shoplifting report in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway and cited Rodney Jackson, 48, for larceny and criminal trespass.
Motor vehicle collision
• At 2:54 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report from a 35-year-old woman on Delta Drive that her vehicle was struck while parked.
• At 10:57 a.m. Sunday, JPD received a report from a 33-year-old man in the 10000 block of Crazy Horse Drive that his vehicle was struck while parked.
Theft
• At 12:37 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a theft report from a 39-year-old man in the 1400 block of Harbor Way.
• At 4:29 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a report of the theft of a cellphone valued at $100 and a pair of men’s shoes valued at $100 in the 200 block of Ferry Way.
• At 6:18 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report from a 69-year-old man in the 100 block of Savikko Road regarding the theft of a truck battery.
Trespassing
• At 3:29 p.m. Saturday, JPD cited Joshua Raymond, 24, for criminal trespass in the 200 block of Marine Way.
